Sing for Water Aid
When a community gets clean water for the first time, it’s the start of something truly life-changing.
Right now, some of the world’s poorest people don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets or hygiene. Without these basics, overcoming poverty is just a dream. But when you help us to dig a well or install a tap stand in a community, you're changing the lives of children for the better.
785 million people in the world – one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. Will you transform lives today?
Sing for Water North is happening in Preston on Saturday 13th June 2020.
Give £15 and come and sing with us. More information here.

Preston People’s Choir is a friendly choir which welcomes everybody who wants to enjoy singing in a group. We learn the songs by ear so you don’t need to be able to read music. There are no auditions and you don’t need any experience. We sing a wide range of songs from all over the world. We currently have around 60 members.
Where and when?
Our sessions are every Tuesday evening (during usual term time) from 7pm to 9pm in Room 226 in The Media Factory on Kirkham Street, Preston, Lancashire PR1 2XY, close to Fylde Road.
What does it cost?
The first time you come it’s free so you can see if it’s for you. After that we ask for £3, £4.50 or £6 each session, depending on your circumstances.

Or just turn up!
We are a Natural Voice Choir, which means celebrating the voice you are born with, rather than training it to an ideal of perfection. It's about welcoming all voices into a group without auditions and working from there to make a group sound. And it’s about doing all that whilst having fun!
